Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer recognized for his distinctive blend of gospel-soul jazz R&B as well as R&B. Sunshine has appeared on Broadway, at the Democratic National Convention and in European festivals and clubs. Sunshine is the daughter of Denise White. Although she lives in Atlanta, she originates from Chester Pennsylvania where she began her musical vocation by singing and playing piano in churches. Following her graduation from Spellman College, Atlanta she began her music career on the Atlanta's R&B musical scene. Sunshine was at the center of attention for people across the nation through daily performances of four at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine then went on to be asked to sing in the presence of President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
