Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived in a musical family on 9 August 1993 in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is the daughter and cousin to the singing sensation Dionne. Her first singing gig was in a choir at the church she attended The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark as a young child at the age of 15 was singing backing vocals professionally with the mother of her on Chaka Khan's 1978 smash Im Every Woman. In 1981, she was a model and appeared on the Seventeen cover. She also provided the backing vocals for Jermaine and Lou Rawls. The vocals she sang with the New York-based band Material attracted major record labels which included Arista. They signed her with Arista in 1983, where she spent the remainder of her career. Her debut album Whitney Houston was released in 1985 and became the biggest-selling album of a debut artist. From the album, she had several smash singles, such as Saving All My Love for You How Are You Going to Know If You Give Good Love And The More Love of All. This resulted in her having seven US Top Ones in a row. The singer beat the Beatles. The album sold US 3,000,000 copies before it reached 25,000,000 copies world-wide. This gave her the first of her 6 Grammy Awards. The Whitney album released in 1987 featuring the tracks that I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Where Do Broken Hearts Get to and continued to be a huge success. It is The Bodyguard of 1992 that was her breakthrough album and made her one of the most successful performers in the history of music. Although the film was not highly appreciated and neither was her performance, the soundtrack of her Dolly Parton version I Will Always Love You was able to reach the number one spot on both the albums and singles charts in America for months. She sold 44,000,000 copies. In the same year, she got married to Bobby Brown who was a ex- New Edition singer. She had their only daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown together in March 1993. Around this time her use of drugs became well documented and she began using daily until 1996.
Dana Bash, also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz, is an American anchorwoman and journalist. She serves as a political correspondent at CNN. The anchor has also created some of the network's weekend shows such the Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics.' She has worked for other renowned channels before, including NBC and CBS. Bash is the recipient of several awards and honours. Elle magazine once listed her in the Women in Washington Power List. With her amazing anchoring and reportage abilities, she is highly regarded by many young journalists in the field. This George Washington University grad is a devoted mother to her single child. She has been married twice but is currently dating. Bash is a fan of her fans with all of her heart.
